One Call Services It All

Will cane punctually at 8 am as scheduled. He quickly diagnosed the problem with the relay. He then also found that the aquastat on my water heater was not functioning properly, which had been causing a problem i had noticed recently. He replaced both defective parts. Throughout the call he was cordial and efficient and explained everything to me completely. I would certainly give him 5 plus stars!

We bought and had installed our new a/c system last month. From the sales people to the installers we were so so pleased. There was no pressure from Mark our sales professional and the installation team worked so hard and were so caring and professional despite the temp being in the 90's. Last week we had problems with our system and within 24 hours a tech was there. It turned out to be a thermostat problem (Universe did not install the thermostat – it was there previously) but resetting it seemed to do the job. A few days later we lost cooling again and in less then 24 hours James came. It turned out that thermostat that was reset finally completely failed. James figured that out very quickly and replaced the thermostat and everything is fine. Again there was NOTHING wrong with the A/C – it was the previously purchased thermostat that failed. He took the time to check over everything to make sure there were no additional concerns and there weren't. The staff at the call center is caring, patient, professional and knowledgeable. Phones are answered quickly. I am so happy we decided to go with Universal and are so grateful to them.
A few days later we realized that it was time to replace ALL of our thermostats. We have 4. So we received an early morning call from Jimmy O that he was on his way. He and his assistant Eric were so friendly, caring, professional and efficient. They knew their stuff. After the work was done (replacing the thermostats and installing the C-wires) Jimmy took the time to set them up, help us download the appropriate APP on our phones, connect them to Alexa and patiently helped us navigate everything. He explained and re-explained as often as we needed and was so calm about it and unruffled. He stayed as long as we needed and remained patient and kind. A few hours after he left we had a question, called Universe and within a short time after that a supervisor called back and answered out question. I wish I remembered his name. I am still so very grateful
One year later….
We decided to relocate one of our thermostats from a wall near our kitchen to a different wall. It was very easy to make the appointment and David B, the electrician came to our home. He actually came earlier than the estimate window so called to make sure an earlier arrival would be okay. He evaluated the situation, came to what we feel was a fair price and immediately set to work. He made sure to explain everything, was kind, efficient, professional, friendly and definitely knew his stuff. He cleaned up after himself and was an absolute pleasure to work with. With this company we feel that we definitely get what we pay for and are very grateful.

Great technician !!!!!

Frank the technician was very thorough when servicing my a/c unit. He found some issues with the old unit. We were told that it's time for a new one. They put us right on the schedule the next day. The crew showed up first thing in the morning and started working right away. Thanks again to Ben, Keith and Justin for a great installation of the new a/c unit. You guys were neat and respectful of everything.

I have Universe's Whole Home Coverage for 2 maintenance visits per year for heating & cooling so didn't pay for the maintenance today.
Johnson Pyram is the tech who came to do the maintenance on my hvac system. He is very professional, knowledgeable & friendly. He took pictures of the unit in the attic to show me the mold & mildew on it. Also advised of an air scrubber appliance that can be attached to the cac unit to help in trapping bacteria etc. I was very happy with Johnson's work. I've had Universe for many, many years & they always come thru fast when you need them.

I've been using them now for about a year and a half, and I'm very happy with the service that I've been getting.

Very nice and intelligent person

Universal will be my new plumber. They answered the phone promptly, took my info and quickly got me service. My plumber, JP called me back within the time frame I was told(30-40 min), gave me an eta on arrival and was actually early, less than an hour. And this was at 6 pm, after normal hours. He was polite and helpful. Got my drain cleared quickly, cleaned up and got me some estimates quickly for some more work I asked about. I couldn’t have been happier. Thank you to JP and Universal!

The main number I called, after an Internet search, had very helpful consumer service attendant. When the plumber, James, who came to check out the issue, was able to quickly examine and identifie the issue. Was able to quickly to fix the problem and offer advice as needed.
